Why I built this

I've spent ten years working across the full engineering spectrum — from a fitter/machinist to design engineer, from service technician to project manager. From oil rigs to mine sites and small engineering service providers to large tier one operators. I even ran my own small drafting company along the way.

Drawing reviews are a constant source of frustration at every level. You open a folder, click a file name, wait for the PDF to load, realise it was the wrong revision, and start the search again. Come back to a project after three weeks and you'd spend the first hour just rebuilding context - What was the open issue? Why was this decision made? Which revision are we on? The mental overhead is enormous, and it compounds across every project on your plate.

The enterprise tools that are supposed to solve this are too expensive, too complicated, and largely inaccessible. So the actual daily work ends up happening in PDF editors, email chains, and shared drives.

I built RedlineFlow because I was the person who needed this tool for a decade and it didn't exist. Every drawing laid out on one canvas, real-time collaboration, tracked markups, revision control, reviewers invited with a single link.

That's it. No enterprise contract. No training course. Just markups.
